Leave the Macy’s madness behind and support local artists! Yours truly will have a booth at Santa’s Black Market. I will be selling fabulous fur collars, which make you look more than a little like a Who from down in Whoville. Tina will be slingin’ some hand-made lighters and Polly is covered in paste from all the decoupage Kleenex cozies she’s making. Photos are coming soon so stay tuned.

Booths will feature 70 of San Francisco’s coolest artisans proffering their wares and most items are priced less than $25. If you’re not in the mood to shop, there will be live entertainment from some of San Francisco’s finest and funniest yule-time acts.

This is a fun event — it’s part party and part shopping. People are making some ingenious stuff these days and this is a great place to see what’s going on in the DIY world. Buy everyone on your list something you can be sure they don’t already have.
